Dr. Zeme's ear, nose and throat practice is located in Castro Valley, an unincorporated community in Alameda County, in the East San Francisco Bay Area. Castro Valley is one of the most populous unincorporated areas in California, lying south of Lake Chabot east of San Leandro. north of Hayward, and west of San Ramon, Dublin and Pleasanton. The San Leandro Hills extend along the northeastern edge of this largely residential community, where Joseph Eichler built many of the approximately 10,000 homes he built in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mark Zeme, M.D. is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, specializing in medical treatment and surgery of the ear, nose, sinuses, and throat. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, and was designated a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck surgery.

Dr. Zeme sees patients of all ages, including children at his Castro Valley office. He performs surgeries at Eden Medical Center, both Castro Valley and San Leandro campuses, where he served as the section chair of the division of otolaryngology for 10 years. He is a member of Children’s First Medical Group and the medical staff at Children’s Hospital, Oakland where he specializes in pediatric ENT surgeries.
